Sand boa's are great and don't get to big, i've got 1 i've had around 6 years now and she's so laid back, more so then the corns i would say. Also they don't need a lot of room, an adult pair of the biggest type of sand boa's can comfortabley live in a 4 by 2 by 2 viv and the female max out out at 3-4 foot with the males averageing around 2foot, thats for the Indian sand boa (E johnii johnii) veriaty whilst the most common type is the Kenyan sand boa (Eryx Colubrinus), in which the females reach between 2-2 1/2 foot at most and males reach about 18inches on average and a 3 by2by2 is probabley 2 big for a pair, but that won't take up to much room.
