True, it is a nice BP. Has it fed yet? I hope it has as thats always a good sign o a good 1 (as well as being a good handler).

Not tried feeding yet was told to leave that for about a week, i was supposed to reslly leave the handling for a few more days but he/she wanted to come out...and what can i say first time handling a RP didnt even curl up try to escape or get defensive.. really docile and friendly... Just finished building a viv just need to get the glass and waiting fort the heat/light to come through then ill be moving the royal out from the tub

Just finished building a viv just need to get the glass and waiting fort the heat/light to come through then ill be moving the royal out from the tub Hi Craig - what a cutie pie ! When I moved my Royal from a tub to a viv I kept him in his Tub for a few weeks & placed it inside the new viv. That way he got used to his surroundings, Then i moved him into the viv without the tub ! (if this makes sense !!) Try to resist handling him untill he has successfully fed for you.. as moving to a new home with different smells & stuff can be quite scary for the little gems. This can cause stress & then in turn probs with feeding. Deebo always wanted to come out when I 1st got him, I think they just look for escape routes in the early days! He has chilled now & is quite lazy ! you will never ever see him out & about now during the daytime, where as when he was a tinker he was out & about whenever ! Good luck & let us know how his 1st feed goes !!! ;D

Hey people, has been awhile... He has been feeding very well since i have had him, he does not seem to mind which time of the day he feeds and even eats 2 small mice (only do that if i dont have any larger mice to feed), does seem to prefer if the mouse is hanging by its tail (using tongs) just outside his hide, if i just place in a dish normally takes a while for him to strike and take it... As far as handling goes is great such a calm litttle fella.. Has not shed yet , my corn when young used to shed almost monthly.. anyway thats my little update time for some sleep.. Craig
