Since ive had my royal (about week & half now) ive been using a tub anyway. finally got around to building a viv & with some help from here i was reccomened some bulbs & fittings etc anyway here is a pic of the final setup... left each side 15 mins each using a digital themometer.. hot side is steady at 91.4F cool end is steady at 82.2F so no need for a heat mat really... Cheers Craig

Very nice setup, and a good looking bp to boot. Will do the little 1 for about 18-24 monthes, depending on growth.
Well done.

Very nice bp btw seriously vivs are so easy to build.. that viv i built in total inc the glass must of cost no more than £25.. try a google search on vivarium diy loads of proper guides out there... From the B&Q warhouse i got ..8ft length of white chipboard this length should be enough for a young royal like mine =) (get cut via there cutting service) ..sheet of hardboard (the thin flimsy stuff) ..chipboard screws ..some vents - i got ones that have a slider can adjust the amount of air the flows through. ...Glass runners (should be 2 lengths one is deeper than the other this stops the glass from falling out. ..then once the frame is done is just the glass to buy and be fitted.. just take the viv to them they should measure it correctly cut it smooth it off then fit it for you..
