I disided to get my bci earley after venus's departshure, he will never take her place (i loved that snake) but he'll hopefully help with with the greif and everything so here's the first 2 pic's i have of him.

he's now wrapped aroung the light (it's not on, and i didn't have enough for the gaurd ). He's a cheeky little thing, and judging his feeding records he's a greedy little thing as well. (i know, propper feeding/shed/poop chart from a pet shop).

im so happy you got him but you have to get his light going soon. if you dont get his temps up to 88 he will get a RI. redtails are prone to them give him a kiss on his cute little head from me. dont forget to tell him it is from me! lol. do you have a name yet?

Zues is the final name choice (my gran put £50 to him, so she had a say).
Ok the floor temp is at 85-86 at the min, warm side and about 72-75 on the cool end (again floor temp), ambiant temp in the middle of the viv 6 inches from the top is 80 (half hour ago).
Just ordered a light gaurd from livefood, as i don't have the cash now (he skinted me) but my mum's used her debit card so he could have 1.
More pics tommorow after h's settled in a little.

He's calm enough to handle, but i want to be sure because i don't want to stress him any more then is needed, it's been enough of 1 getting him home (15 min bus ride, then a half mile walk on a rainey, windy day).
