I have been told that Brazilians are the most stunning. If i could keep them in large plastic boxes that would seriously cut down the costs.
I quite agree about the challenges thing and the largest i would go for my own pet is a large boa but if i had the room and a rescued burmese came up i couldn't turn it away.

Brazilians doo look amazing, but I'm not sure about the most stunning! Look at some of the others www.rainbowboa.co.uk/gallery.phpI keep seriously thinking about getting a bci, but so far have decided against it, as proved by my lack of bci :S

I had no idea there was so many different types. Brazilians still come pretty near top though in my opinion and i imajine you would have your work cut out trying to get hold of some of the others.

columbian rainbows are quite common, usually going for about £80-£120 depending where you get them.

I am sure you will get one. It is funny how you can become completley addicted to snakes. I only have a couple of corns and don't get me wrong they are amazing snakes but i would just love something with a bit more power.

I do get that, I was never that interested in colubrids I'm not sure I agree with morphs, so I'm not sure I would want to buy any more. I much prefer naturally beautiful snakes, like ATBs, ETBs and rainbow boas. What reminds me, I want a GTP!

I can imajine this thread going on for ever, because every time anyone sees a snake they would like they would post it . I quite like corns just i find the python and boa familys more interesting. Sadly i don't get to see that many large snake at the reptile shop because the man doesn't like them.

Thats not to bad for chipping, it cost me £20 per cat last year, so i'd pay that for any snake, i'll have to look into it further for my lot, after all, better safe then sorry.

i have a trio of columbian rainbow boas and im biased i think due to the plain faint patterning the irredesence is so much more strinking
im on the hunt for a trio of argentinian (sp) rainbow boas as personally i find the pattern the nicest

oops sorry
no from what i have read and heard brizilians are suppost to grow larger than columbians and columbians are ment to grow larger than argentinians so from the three i conclude that argentinians are suppost to be the smallest but personally i have to debate this seeign as my oldest columbian female is 6ft and still growing and the other 2 are not far behind it makes me wonder if this information is false
