I woke up this morning and looking over to Doug's viv and saw him shedding! What perfect timing. I watched him shed the whole thing then when he was done I measured it and it was 27" which would mean he's about 25" right?

depends who you ask. Some say take 10%off the shed size others as much as 30%, i go with 15% which would make him about 23-4 inches actuaal lengh in my book.
But thats errelevent, well done on catching him shedding, something i havn't seen 2 often with mine (never from chocky).
Well done mate

It's amazing isn't it? I didnt know quite how they did it but watching homer slithering out of his skin is great. Sat and watched him the last twice and due to shed again in a day or so. It must drive them mad or be uncomfortable as Homer goes barmy before he sheds.

Yes its great to watch them shed.I wondered for a long time how they started the shed but was lucky enough to see Storm do it a few sheds back it was wonderful to see him turn his head upside down to get it started on his nose and the top of his head.

Nice one! Ive only caught 2 of my snakes shed and yes it was amazing. Its really mad how they just crawl out of the skin. Both snakes were caught in the evening (one about 7.30 and the other about 9) so keep a look out everyone!
