Who would just throw away a pet? Wouldn't you ask around to see if anyone wants it first? But that's really cool that you found it! It looks quite skinny to me, you can really see it's spine. Hope you get him back to health!

Well some ignorant people in the uk either can't look after it anymore and is to inbarresed to give it away because someone might report them to the rspca so in most cases they either dump it on the door of their local rescue centre or someone who can look after the pet and then they peg it.

Just a little update. As of now he has kept the 2 fuzzies down he seems to have a low rattle noise after he has been in the water. When he drinks he puts his head under the water his nose looks a little dirty as it would if he had been digging with it the noise to me sounds like he may just have a little blockage in his nostrils dont think its anything too serious but i will certainly keep a close eye on him and if it gets worse or doesnt seem to lessen i will have to go to the reptile vet (nearest one 40 mile away). While changing his water this morning he came to my hubbys hand so he lifted him for a short while and he was no problem.Just keeping our fingers crossed he will be ok, looks like another viv to be made haha.

Keep a close eye on him for 3-4 days. It may just be some dirt in the nostral's, but it could be something more sinister like an ri, if it's a blockage it should clear and quick is, if its an ri it will more then likley need an antibiotic injection (maybee 2 ) and some oral meds for the srinking water.

Well we handled the lucky snake today and i dont hear any noise now though i will still listen just in case. Still think it was just dirt in his nostrils time will tell. He pooped today so he has digested the fuzzies ok. ;D

Sounding good . Still keep an eye on him for a while, but from the sound of things he should be ok, maybee to be sure it might be worth getting a poop sample examined? But thats just a sugestion if your still bothered, it';; cost about £15, or at least thats what i paid when i got 1 done for venus around christmass (i recomend then yearley anyway, just to make sure).
