This is a nice little shop and the man that owns it is helpful and friendly. Certain cages occasionally look dirty but are cleaned out before long. His knowledge of animals is good and he is very helpful to first time owners who he talks to for at least half an hour before they are allowed to take their pet away. He is also very helpful after you have got your pet and is more than happy to probe your snake for you. He helps with tricky feeders and for a small fee ( maybe £10 a week) will take your snake while you are away on holiday. He has a few interesting displays including a rescued alligator and a couple of venomous snakes like the Copperhead and Gaboon viper. He also has a Throny Devil.
The costs can be expensive initially for animals but most of his equipment and foods are well priced. It is quite a small shop so the range of animals can be limited but he has plenty of contacts and he will almost always be able to get you what you want. The same applies to equipment. If you are getting equipment ordered in it is best to expect a week more than he quotes due to problems with shipping. If you buy a flat pack viv he is happy to build it for you and will fit free light fittings.
