Hey, im a complete novice to owning a snake, but heard Corn snakes were the way to go for first timers! i did as much research about how to care for them etc, i handled her in the store to ensure she was "tame" brought her home and left her for about 4 days. Then offered some food which she took straight away, left her to settle for 48hrs as advised, then started to handle her, when i go into her viv though she will arch back hiss and strike every time. when i eventually get hold of her she will be fine for a few minutes but then occasionaly strike and bite, is this normal and is she likely to calm down with continued handling??
