Awe Jo that would be awful if you had to part with Hugo just because your older corn doesn`t like him. A home made viv doesn`t cost that much. How long have you had Hugo?

cant u stack the vivs on top of each other, that way it aint taking up any more space, just height..even if the bottom one is sitting on the floor, then the top of the top viv can be used as a table or what not

Im sorry to hear about the situation you are in. Are you sure of the sex of both corns? To me it sounds like it is possible that the younger one may be female which is why the older one is chasing her around? Just and idea. This is exactly what my corns do when i put them together when mating. Otherwise the older one may be agressive as it already has one over on the younger one as he is bigger and braver. If they are both male I wouldnt try to introduce them again as it sounds like it may end in disaster and IMO it may be better to try and house them seperate or sell one or you may end up with one of them being hurt. Like you said you could try and divide the viv you have, how big is it? Are you moving to your sisters permanantly? If not you may be able to get someone to look after him until you are in a situation to take him back? I will try and help find someone if thats what you decide. Good luck and I hope it works out for you ;D

my move is just short tearm and i dont have room in my bedroom for 2 vivs at all noteven stacked up, my sisters house is cramed, she is having another baby so i will have to keep them in ma room im not sure of hugo's sex the vet said she thort he was a boy but he was verry young at the time.
Anyway iv been to the diy shop and got some clear plastic sheats cut to size to split the viv so iv just finninshed sorting it out, its not perfct but it will do untill i move back in to my own place. It all depends on geting both corns sexed, how much they both grow, and if they start to tolate each outher. or leon might strees hugo out being so close, or how long i stay at my sisters. But at least he is safe for now thanx Dave ;D

are you splitting it up and down, or across?
just wondering about heating, did u split it down the middle and put the heat mat in the middle, so the cold sides are at each end?
or use two heatmats?
or you using bulbs of some sort?

do u have a heatmat on the top half aswell? as far as i was awear heat mats were designed to heat what was directly on top of them, ie if the snake lies on it it will get the heat into its belly they wernt made to heat the air temperature...so if the corn upstairs aint got a heatmat to lie on, i could see some problems with digesting food etc just a thought that u might wanna look into
