You guys sure know a lot about snakes. I'm kind of new at this stuff. I went out and got my little snake for myself for mothers day. She's growing like a weed. Is it bad to feed a corn snake more then once a week? When I got her, she was about a foot long. Now she is two feet long and eats like a pig. OK gotta go for now... Desperate Housewives is on.

Mine are fed every 6 days. What size food are you offering as at 2 fot long medium-large fuzzies would be my choice, maybee even a small adult (depending on your suppliers size of small mouse). Anyway, welcome to the forum.

to me thats a normal healthy growth rate, and a god idea of what the differance a little while makes. My biggest corn (at the min) chocky has just, in the last 3-4 monthes started to "fill out" since he has hit the 34" shed size and bigger, in that time he has almost doubled in thickness which is normal, ready for his next lenghways growing spurt.
