HELP!

Post by Shrimply on Sept 15, 2005 15:20:42 GMT
As long as you don't mind them getting dirty I have some all right Ideas.
Make some red jelly and before it sets add small prizes like plastic insects or such like. If you can get a monsters head to house the jelly its great but otherwise use an old sheet with a hole for a hand to cover the bowl. Guest take turns at getting out the prizes. This game is even more fun if you don't actually tell the what is inside and let their imaginations fill in the gaps.
If you have got plenty of outside space and the weather is good this one is great fun.Get the least transparent balloons you can find. Fill some up with water and food coloring and put sweets or other prizes in the others. Number them and suspend the in a row along a piece of string. Guests pull a number out a hat and stand under the balloon with the matching number. Each is then issued with needle and have to pop the one above their head.
Pinatas are also great fun if you can be bothered to make one. Using paper mache I'm am sure a monster could be sculptured.
Also if the party is later at night or you have really heavy curtains. replacing all your lights with coloured pygmy bulbs would produce a really interesting effect.
Hope this helped

A few more.
If you can find some willing volunteers. Parents and older brothers or sisters are best. The kids will have great fun if you supply make up, decorations etc. Then split them up in to groups and the group that turns their volunteer into the best monster win.
Another fun game although it doesn't have anything to do with your theme is Fluffy Bunnies ;D
The kids all stand in a line and you go along the line putting a marshmallow in each of their mouths. Each time you put in a marshmallow they have to say fluffy bunnies. If they dribble, chew or swallow a marshmallow or fail to say fluffy bunnies then they are out the winner is the one with the most marshmallows in his mouth still able to say fluffy bunnies

Lets just say I have been in a scout troop for 9 years with some leaders which have a lot of imagination and a very warped idea of whats fun . However there is never a dull moment with them.

Hey!! I'm glad you liked my grave yard. Thats just the beginning!!! I have to plan ahead, with my brood and working i have little time. But it is gonna be a top night! ;D my kids are really looking forward to it. NO ONE is alowed in to the party unless they are dressed up. even my mum and dad are dressing up. one of the kids mums asked if she could stay for the party and she was told " you can only come if your in fancy dress!" All of my walls are going to be covered in webs and i've got all sorts of weired and wonderful things to hang from the walls! Its turning into a major event!!

It sounds great. My parents just don't have the imagination or time to pull off something like that. I can imagine that you will be tidying up months later. When lozzer said that they should not wear hair dye what he actually meant was the more hair dye and make-up that gets in the water and icing sugar the better. Oh and we just have to see a picture of you in fancy dress. ;D

We all love a party no matter what age we are. Maybe this part is as much for you as the kids . For one of my sisters parties my parents rented a bouncy castle and then got us all off to bed early so they could spend the rest of the evening playing on it .
