I know most of you suggest feeding young snakes every 5 days but for my convenience and handling time etc i have been feeding both my snakes once a week. 2 month old Granite 2 pinkies and the other one i think is a yearling 2 half-growns. The man i got then from suggested either two feeds of one item or 1 feed of 2 items per week but i know both are very greedy and would eat happily every 5 days . I know my routine just now will not cause them any harm but also have no problems with increasing what i give them and i basically wondered what you thought. All help is much appreciated.

I personaly feed once a week as for one 5 days is kinda close to powerfeeding which is totaly not reccomended and can lower their life span and in the wild they only eat like 2-3 times a month unless its a very lucky snake. Most pet shops and breeders do feed theirs every 4-5 days but thats only because they want it to either grow bigger for breeding or to look more apealing to buyers.

5 days is sound... may be worth upping the 2 month to fuzzies or 3 pinkies and the yearling the next size me personally once theyll eat 2 items over 3 feeds they are moved up to the next size from one

The yearling has just been found after living in the wild for 3 months so the man at the reptile shop suggested that i break it in gently. Hope to go to larger food sooner. The two month has had pinkies since about three weeks old and i don't honestly think she could take fuzzies i may try feeding her 3 pinkies. Thanks for the info.

5-7 days is fine for anything under 18months old IMO. Then i suggest 7-10 days for adult corns. I dont stick to perticular days for any of mine, but they all get fed 7-10 days (besided the one that has just laid who has medium every 5 days). So in short, yes your feeding routine sounds great ;D
