I have a very tiny corn probably around 3 weeks or so that we found outside. He won't take to a pinky. I have tried 3 times to feed him. He won't touch it. I have tried wiggling it in front of him, poking a hole in the brain, I don't know what else to do. Should I get some meal worms for right now. Do you think the pinky is too big. The corn is only about 10 inches and about the width of a pencil.

I don't have that much experiance but it sounds like you are doing the right things. However i am pretty sure mealworms are a no. What temps do you have your tank at? Pinkie heads are the next option and also a trip to the vet is a good idea.

Hopefully I should be able to help you, but I will need a little more info first...
What size enclosure are you keeping it in at the moment? I suggest putting it in a small take away box about 6x4 inches with a little water dish (maybe a milk bottle top) and some kitchen roll for substrate. Heat about 1/3 of the tub with a heat mat.
As you found it it will be hard to determine the age, it could be older than you think as you dont know how long it has not eaten for.
A pinkie should not be too big though even though it may look it.
There are many tricks to try, but first let it settle for a few days. Wait until the evening then put a pinkie in (maye put a little slit near the head to release the scent). make sure the pinke is warm as they will not eat it cold. Disturb as little as possible when putting the pinke in. Leave it for an hour or overnight.
If it hasnt eaten then you can try again 2 days later. I have has sucess scenting the pinkie on rats (just slit open a rat and rub the pinkie on it), snails and tuna.
You can tease the hatchling but gently touching its body with the pinkie, it will get angry and hopefully strike. If it does then keep very very still until it begins to eat it.
I would try a few of these methods every couple of days for at least 2 weeks before you atempt to assist feed ( i will talk you through this if need be).
Also is it possible we can have a photo of this little fellow? It may also be worth a trip to the vets. He will take samples to make sure it has not picked up any parasites.
Do not attempt to handle him as he will be very vunerable. You may want to add some reptasol to the water to give it some essential vitamins aswell.
Oh and dont try anthing else at the moment besides pinkies and scented pinkies. If it gets the taste of something else i can also guarantee you will never get it eating mice again.
Good luck, and please let me know if I can be of any further help.
