Hi all. My name is Debbie. I am a 33 year old slightly strange woman with a huge passion for all things scailey. I keep a variety of snakes and lizards, have a few spiders, cockroaches and GALS for good measure and a few furries. I run a friendly little web site and forum on reptiles and have a small viv building service. Anyway, thats enough about me for now. Hope to get to know some of you soon. Cheers, Deb

Welcome I haven't been here long but for lots of friendly free advice you have come to the right place. And trust me compared to some of the people on here you are completely normal.
Where about are you based, I am in the process of trying to build a new viv so your advice would be very much appreciated or if your prices are good i may be tempted to get one from you. My plans have been shown to a joiner and I am waiting for a price estimate but we all know what joiners are like especially if they are not getting paid.
OH, you don't know a source for clear adhesive handles do you?

This joiner is a personal friend meaning trade prices and no construction costs. But we will see who wins. Handles seem impossible to get hold of unless you want black. What sort of delivery costs are you looking at to get a 4ft by 2ft to Galashiels( I bet that won't be cheap). I will try and email you the plans soon.

EEK.. yeah its a few miles away You'd be looking at £110 including delivery, i guess if you have a friend doing the job they may just pip me to the post, especially without the delivery cost, thats £30 on its own

And I've been told to put a list of animals up so here goes. I have Royal Pythons, Red tail Boas, Amazon and Emerald trea boas, Brazilian Rainbow Boas, Corn snakes, king snakes, bearded dragons and an Iggy. I also have GALS, cockroaches, tarantulas and 2 dogs and a cat, oh and 3 kids, only wish they could be locked in vivs too!! I did have a beautiful bosc but she died recently (still in mourning). And I think thats it

Shame you aren't closer £80 kind of what I was looking at but it won't be nearly as well finshed as yours are and at least I would not have to wait any time getting one. However having to pay the delivery costs doesn't really make it worth it. At least I have got a proffesionals opinion to help me on my way.
