Dave when my hubby found the cornsnake in May it had damaged scales like that one after about 3 sheds they were back to normal. Hope the mouth problem isn`t mouth rot, he sure has a good home now with you.
Off topic: We have found out just a few weeks ago where the cornsnake came from- it was an escapee from further up the estate. The owner knows we have it!

thatkyou to all for help an kind comments im sure now that hes on the up and up, weve been watching him moving round a lot and he spent an hour of this morning in the water bowl hes going back in 3 weeks to be checked again and sexed, etc

The owner knows we have it! im gonna get the scale clipped by jerry when i go back as its basically just dead abd has no feeling to him, the cut should go in about 5 sheds too ;D
