can anyone tell me where i can get hold of glass locks for vivs,i know i can get them on ebay but i'd rather just go to a shop and buy them,cheers

they seem to sell really well on ebay, i had 4 then found another one stashed in my rep room, wish i had more really.

large diy shops tend to sell them, or a reptile shop. I do get most of my stuff from ebay/internet though it tends to be much cheaper.
I had a lock once and found it didnt fit between the glass properly, the bit where it bends out slighty made it too big. Anyone else had this problem at all? I did try to flatten it with the hammer but kind of made it worse, lol. I just use the rubber wedges now, but would prefer locks if anyone can advise how to overcome the problem?

2 pairs of plyers Vicki, works wonders to take out the bend. then heat over a hob and tap streaght, cool in water then respray for a quality painted finish.
