I once volunteered in a reptile shop for a few days. we lost a mexican black kingsnake. it was about 11 inches long, just a baby. Anyway now the shop has been shut and knocked down. and poking its head out of a rats hole was the snake. its now 4 feet long and has survived through snow and almost torrential rain. the sanke is fine living with 1 of the workers of the shop. i think this is proof of how amazing snakes are!!!!!!!!

My king snake escaped as a baby, the previous owners recognized it when it was found and wouldnt have it back (probably cos of the nasty injuries it had to the face) hes now adult size and living with us and hes totally back to normal!
