Hello all! I decided to temporarily drop out of the internet in order to be able to pay the winter's heating bill. Sorry I haven't been on in a while.
I am extremely sad to report the passing of our second Candycane corn. We have no idea what happened. He was fine, eating well, and extremely energetic. He died very unexpectedly about 2 1/2 months after arriving in our home. My son was devistated at the news, but he's alright now.
On a much happier note, Hashie and Skye are doing very well. Hashie is 3 feet now, Skye's grown to 2 feet. Hashie is in a new viv, 36 x 18 x 16, and I've switched to a UTH and Aspen shavings. Skye will get the same one soon.
Vicki, I am very sorry to hear about little Hope.
Hello and welcome to all who are new.

Thank you everyone! ;D
I will post some pics of Hashie and Skye soon, as well as Hashie's new viv. It's pretty basic at the moment, 2 caves, her plant, and another "log-like tunnel thingy". I need to put in some climbing branches, or something. Suggestions would be appreciated.
I think my girl was a bit apprehensive of her new surroundings ... until she realized she can burrow under the Aspen (which took her maybe 40 seconds). Skye just dove right in (we made the switch for him, too). They both seem happier, maybe because they can stay out of sight anywhere they are, and Hashie can actually stretch out full length now.
We also have 2 new additions to our zoo. Diamond and Sapphire, our 2 baby rats. They're about 12 weeks old and very mischevious.
