My normal corn just doesn't strike. That includes me, strangers, the guy that probed him and any food. When I try to tong feed him he just looks at me as if I am stupid and waits till I put the food on a plate then very slowly puts his mouth around it. He is so calm but the behaviour doesn't seem normal. I wonder if he maybe got a nip when he was in the wild and decided moving food was a no go area.
What do you think?
As you know Garnite is a different story altogether.

My corn never used to strike when she was little... she does now though, although her aim hasn't improved.

Don't worry about it, 1 of mine will occasionally strike at foor (or me if he's in shed, lol). Whilst blizzard doesn't know the meaning of the word, she has never struck at anything her whole life and she's 2 in june.

lol, yeah i've been bit by 1 of my corns, both sand boa's and my red tailed boa. The corns bite i didn't even know about till i looked at it on my finger, but the boa's i definatley knew about, and yes a red tailed boa's bite does hurt, and bleeds, a lot.

I found that when mine first hatched they struck, mainly as they were unfamiliar with people. After a few weeks they calm down. With regard to food they tend not to strike at it when they are small, this comes later when they grow up. My adult anery doesnt strike at food at all, my amel goes full force although this only started when she laid her first eggs but shes struck ever since. None of mine strike at me, and the 7month old hatchling are just as calm as my adults now.
