Good sign?

Made my first attempt at introducing my two corns last night.

Luna seemed the most intersted and tried to fire off into Smithers' cave, however, he looked totally uninterested and hid under his newspaper peering out.

No sign of aggression on either part, just Luna that seemed more interested in what was going on that Smithers was.

Is this a normal reaction?
