OK, as the forum is quiet, i thought i'd start a new thread. What other hobbies and interests do you all have apart from snakes. I have 4 tropical fish tanks. 240 litres, 180 litres, 100 litres and 30 litres. I also have 3 dogs . I am currently training my 8 month old Pointer to work. He will hopefully do some beating next season or possibly some picking up on a shoot. I'm also an avid motorcyclist and own a CBR600. And of course, there is then football

Need to see pics of your tanks. Some of mine are here w19.photobucket.com/widgets/dynamicdhtml.php?featuretype=bucketstrip&featurename=Fish&pa=/b160/shrimply/Gerbils/Hunting is defiantly not my thing. If you were actually going out and hunting the animals I understand that but rearing them by hand so that they are not scared of man and then releasing them to be shot is so pointless. And then actually not even having to find them as some person is busy banging stick together to scare them out of hiding. Just my opinion but my view wasn't helped when the most arrogant pig you can imagine turned the field behind our house into a rearing place for young pheasants last year. He padlocked the gates closed which is not only illegal but completely pointless. His reason was to keep disease and dogs out however the people employed to look after them had a pair of cocker spaniels running around inside. Know I now that he is a one of and respect your choice of sport but he really is a b*****d. Shot at a red setter the other day because he claimed the owner wasn't around however she was quite close behind the dog. The owner had him by the throat and the police confiscated the fire weapon. We also have reason to believe that our cat that disappeared last year ate poisoned meat which he put down. Ok sorry about that. Also like climbing and other outdoor activities. I am a adventure scout and like camping etc

I'm sad and don't do much, lol.
I'm heaviley into computers, everything from dos programming through to building systems and overclocking.
I also do a lot of dog walking and volenteer at a animal sanchuary (i have 2 cats and havn't got a dog......YET).
I also do a lot of walking, and occasionally am a guide to the local rambleing club, started walking round the hills about 3-4 so know them like the back of my hand, and yess i'll get some pic's up if you really want to see some of the sights neer me. I also enjoy camping, and sometimes do a 50-80 treke on foot and camp overnight about half way through.

Shrimply The link to your pics won't work for me.
As for your comment on the shooting, everybody is entitled to their own opinion and i respect yours.
I'll try and gets some pics up of my tanks.
My 240 litre is home to a severum, an angel, a kribensis, a red rainbow and clown loach. The 180 is home to a mix of tetras and a siamese fighter. The 100 litre holds 5 guppies, 3 mollies and a senodontis and tiny ancistrus. My 30 litre is used for the fry of my livebearers or a hospital tank as needed.

You have to add an "s" on to the link I can't get it to fix any other way.
I look forward to pics. I am glad that you will just accept my view, living in the country I have lots of friends that take part in the sport. It just isn't my thing.

shooting isn't for everyone. I'm firmley on the fence on the subject tho. I occasionally shoot, but i do target shooting (probabley once a year when a few of us get together), i don't think honestley think i could shoot something living, even if it was a game bird.

I don't actually shoot, tho i don't rule it out one day. It's nice to see that people here respect the views of others. Life would be very boring if we were all the same.

I agree it would be boring Molly.
Just because i don't shoot as in game or whatever, doesn't mean i'm against it, but i'm not for it eather, just slap bang in the middle, lol.
What course are you doing Will? If you get the chance to do the A plus or msca or msce course i would take it. The A plus course will be enough for around 20-24k a year working for compaq or dell on the phone lines, doing the diagnostic's when people phone up with a problem.
(i'm 2 old to get it cheap, i'd be looking at around £1000 per courde as i'm over 25, you might get all of them for less then £5-600 which is worth it, believe me.)
