Im crap when it comes to translating into gallons but a Adult Royal or Adult corn would fit nicely in it.

Thats big enough for a corn or royal or king snake. As to the conversion, it's approxamatley 40 gallons.

£90 is a rip unless its a decent sized captive bred one(i can get them for £40 at a herp show) £40 is bad for a normal corn too unless its het for something good like butter(I can get normal for £15) After joing the IHS ive never had to buy from a rip off shop again.Besides shows provide decent quality and decent price herps.

Make sure you know the royal is eating, if its a baby you will most likely have difficulty putting it in a tank like that, especially if it isn't eating very well to begin with. I'm not saying it can't be done, the tank would just have to be quite full.

well i found another place which sells a baby female royal python for £80 and a male for £85 slightly better but still overpriced what should i get male or female ( i have heard females are smaller than males so i am thinking of getting a female unless i got it twisted and the males are smaller )

Well maybe not a baby, I doubt you would be able to find it in a tank that big. They are TINY. I think it would be great for an adult, not that I know all that much about them, except they don't get that big, come from australia and babies are tiny. :S If you still aren't sure what kind of snake you want, maybe look into kingsnakes? I love mexican black kingsnakes! Or you could always take a look at www.lizardkeepers.com/

Hehe, when I started reading it I knew it was a joke... but as I kept reading I started to wonder, it is well written. If you wait a few months to get the snake you will have more to choose from, maybe you could have a day trip to a bigger reptile shop?

I think a royal is a great choice, I love mine. But make sure you get a nice one that is eating well, some how it doesn't bother me much when mine don't eat (it saves some money) but it really stresses some people out. They are amazing snakes, good luck! EDIT - You might find it easier to start with an older royal?
