John, quick question, Henry loves to come out, holding him, 5/10 mins a night at the moment, but the rest of the time he seems to be sleeping, is this normal mate?

Yeah it's quite normal. I know my 2 would only move from the warm to the cool end if i didn't pull em out. Same goes for my boa's aswell as my corns, lol.

so, its ok to actually take the snake out of the viv? i mean, pick him up? steve stated on his forum you should wait until the snake wants to come out. but i thought, how would you know? maybe henry was just looking at the top of the viv? maybe he saw a fly? maybe this/that, lol.

I go off the rule that if it's after 7 pm they are more then likley awake, or at least waking up, so anytime after 7 pm is best imho, or before 7 am asthis is round about when they start to drop off for the day.

Well, i never have him out before 8pm. But today i had no choice because they viv needed to be dried, dunno how, but he tipped a non-tipable bowl.
He is sooooooo unique.

Yeah mine doesn't sleep at all. He is active all night and most of the day. He loves to watch my mum hovering. It is never a problem to get him out just open the doors and he comes out. My younger one is out only at night and need to be removed form her viv when ever she is to come out.

Well, he is still spending most of his time hiding/sleeping. Its strange because he was really active the first two days. Now he is all quiet and reclusive. He is easily hiding 17hours a day, and then, the only time i see him is to drink or when i stand there and let him come out onto my hand. But, he would rather hide than come out, lol. Im going to try feeding him again today, he ate 3days ago. I know meant to be 4days, but, i dont know if he is hungry, he's only little, lol.
So, is him sleeping/hiding all the time normal? I dont even know how old he is, but if its true, and corns only hatch Nov/Jun then he must be 6months old yeah? he is 13inches long btw, is this normal size???

Mike he's probabley one of this years earley clutches. The dates you gave are an average, but some do breed earley or later so theirs a chance it could have been born around the end of feb or start of march. Thats what i would go with anyway.

he carries on looking around the viv after i feed him, i was thinking maybe he is looking for more food. But - i dont know whether giving him 2 pinkies would make him fat, lol And, how long do i wait before offering it to him? i mean, the first one takes about 7 mins to get into his stomach.

If one pinkie is leaving a noticeable lump in his tummy I wouldn't offer the second to him. A second helping would be appropriate if the lump is nonexistent or just barely noticeable, as one food item is in both my snakes. When you feed more than one it should be presented right after the first one is swallowed past his mouth.
Sleeping and eating is mostly what Hashie's all about. She's usually a bit more active if she knows it's around feeding day. I also noticed she tends to be more active if the room is warmer that usual, like when the afternoon sun heats up my living room. Skye has always been active, but he is reclusive when in shed.

Remeber corns are nocturnal so it's normal not to see them during the day. They would most likely come out late at night.
