HELP!

You kind of posted in the wrong place but I am sure our kindly administrator will sort that out. As for plants yes but it can be messy and complicated I have started with a couple of small plants on pots where the bottoms are too small to let the snake in and masking taping up the top so the snake can't get in. Snakes like to dig so if they can get into the pot they cause a mess and the fetilizers put in most composts can be harmful for them which means you need to choose your planting substrate carefully and it needs to be baked before you add it to the viv to kill of any pests and diseases. So I feel stopping the snake getting to it is the best course of action. Also you have to choose non-toxic plants and a google search will quickly find a good list. Personally I think that jade plants are the best as they are nice and strong and will take a good bashing other options include the spider plant. It is a good idea to have several plants and rotate them in and out of the viv so that they get a chance to pick up after the snake has clambered alll over them.
A glass lock can be bought at any good reptile shop or there are plenty of online retailers like livefoods.co.uk also ebay always have plenty available. Putting a layer of door insulator between the sheets of glass also works well.
Hope that helps and welcome to the forum. What age is your corn? We all like to see pics and if you have any more questions fell free to fire away.

HELP!

Door lock as shrimpley said is the easy part of this enquiry, www.livefood.co.uk sell them for a resnoble price, as should any local reptile shop. Actual plants that are safe are aloe-vera and yukka plants/tree (not up on plants, i grow roses, lol). As to the actual compost, plant food ect shrimpley said what i was going to say. Aslo some (not all) cacti are great for viv's as they don't need watering all that often, but you have to choose the smoth versions not the prickeley ones (obvious reasons). A google search will be the best bet tho to get an accurate run down of what is safe and what isn't. I'll see what i can dig out and post the results for you with links if i find anything usefull. BTW, Welcome to the forum.
