I went to super pet the other day to pick up some mice and i was looking at the reptiles and snakes and i came across a snake i hadnt herd of or seen previously it was called "green snake" it was a small snake and the sign said it was active during the day and ate insects it was jus a tiny little thing and i was jus wondering has anyone had one b4 at all or wat there like it also said it was a good beginer snake. just curious

sounds like the rough green snakes they have in at my local shop. They are hard to keep apparentley but i've not looked into them tbh. They are a rarity tho, so good find.

I have seen these and was very temped but when i researched about them i decided against it. I f it is a rough green which it probably is yes they eat crickets etc. they don`t live very long and are harder to look after than corns. Seemingly they are mostly wild caught because they are very hard to breed in captivity. You can handle them but not like you would a corn so they are mostly a display snake. They do really look good but when you weigh up the pros and cons they aren`t the snake for you if you like handling etc.

ya its a rough green snake ive been reading but they said they are a good starter snake but i dont know i think they are rear fanged but i dont think i could keep another snake one at the moment
