hey people i need advise on how to get my hatchling to get used to me, since ive had it (about 3 weeks) ive only tried to handle it a couple of times and its bitten me just once lol so does anyone have an advise you could give me plzz

Just keep hasndling for short periods until it gets confidence and knows that you are not a threat to it. They usually respond very well to this and become tame very quickly.

thx for that i will just keep on tryin to handle it ,its still very timid coz if its out of its hide and someone comes into the room its quickly goes inside its hide

Thats normal corn behaviour, both hatchlings and a lot of adults. They generally remain shy, but as mourne said, gain in confidence once they know you wont hurt them and they get used to coming out. Best advice i can give is to handle 4-5 days out of 7, starting with just 3-4 mins, and slowley increacing the time, which you'll be able to judge nicley once you get to know the snake better and it's behavoiur.

thx for that man, i cnt wait to get my new snakes its gonna cost me £90 for an amel and a snow (not each lol) and i mite be getting a weekend job at my local pet shop working with reptiles mostly corns so i can get experience from that too:)

Which is your local reptile shop? nearest to me is the reptile centre, Bacup, and creepy creatures in Burnley, be good to know another shop thats pretty local to me.
