Ok maybe I am really twisted or something but i was really pleased when i got my first snake bite today. I am sure it will be the first of many.

Anyway I was struck at by a jungle carpet python when trying to change its water today while helping out in the reptile shop. the fact it was acctually in the bowl didn't help .

I wasn't that painful as it only got my hand and I was pretty pleased with myself. It is about time too.

Yeah i was pretty impressed. All in all it was quite a good Tuesday, the guy invited me down to the breeders meeting in Birmingham next weekend. Don't know if i can go yet but if i do it should be good and he has promised to introduce me to a load of knowledgeable keepers.

i have had 3 encounters with my royal python, one which left a tooth in my armpit!! they are quiet fun to show people down the pub though lol
