Hi, I just found this really interesting and thought I would share it.
I was at the reptile shop for work experience on Tuesday afternoon and the Guy was having a bit of a problem. He had a few people wanting to pick up corns a few days later and promises that the corns will have had a meal before they are picked up. One person in particular was unable to wait any longer for the snake. However he has had serious issues getting food up lately and had no pinkies left. He decided to try this frozen terrapin food that his mate makes and apparently he also used it for his young corns. Anyway we defrosted it and rolled it up into pinkie sized lumps. And much to my surprised every single baby took the stuff. It is mazing the new things you learn who would of thought that the hatchlings would eat minced fish. I am told the oils are great for their scales.

I've never tried anything like that myself, but i do know a few people in the US who have tried similar with fresh beef, pork and chicken when mice were scarce, and around 2/3 actually ate this as an alternative when nothing else was available.
Still never thought acout try fish before, of any shape or form, but thats well worth remembering.
