Moved my snakes into their new vivs on monday evening, i expected them to have a good nosey around their new abode but what i didnt expect was their constant burrowing in the substrate something neither of them have done since they were tiny hatchlings. When they did come "up for air" they both just sat at the door as if they were begging to get out. Do you think they missed each other? (they have lived together for the last 8 mths) cause this behaviour lasted until midday the next day i ended up feeding them to see if that would stop them, it did eventually. Everyone here is convinced they miss each other but they can see other when i let them out in living room. I know some will say this idea is rubbish. what does the others think?

I've not seperated 2 snakes so i'll give it a stab in the dark. They should be ok in a week or 2 when they settle into their new viv's, just remember you can always handle them together, and house together when doing a full clean out.

When i seperated mine they seemed to act strange for a while. I think they did miss each other. Mine are now both in seperate vivs and my male has started to burrow since i put him on aspen. I have also noticed that he comes out a lot more and just sleeps anywhere. I think he is much happier having his viv to himself ;D
