I got a couple that hatched early (about 3 weeks early) and 1 was dead when i checked (wasn't expecting them, so was 2-3 days 2 late) and the other 1 was bairley alive. It lasted about 4 days and was very very weak, it also died.
The rest went over the expected date, and never hatched, tho all the eggs except 2 had snakes in, they were all slightly deformed tho, so it was ether bad incubating on my part (84f, humidity was at a constant 80-90 after week 2), or maybe a defective gene from the parents, but not sure which parent.
I don't know, maybe i'm just not ment to breed corn snakes.

I just put it down to 1 of those things, at least it's working upto a point as 2 did hatch and the rest contained (deformed) snakes.
Shame as i was expecting all amels, and their was a couple of snows in with the amels so chocky has to be het anery going off this clutch (but i never knew his parental history before i got him, being a pet shop buy) so i'm pleased with that at least, even tho i didn't have a success thats something to look forward to next year (hopefully).

Glad you had some sucsess, and yeah even just the 1 is well woth it.
Hopefully my other male will be big enough (he'll be 2, but is around 3ft now) and is het anery so if i have a sucsessful year next yeah with him i can only assume it's gene related, but we'll just have to wait and see.
