Hi i found a place that sell royals and can deliver them straight to your door but im a bit concurned as they say their royals are captive farmed and i don't know what captive farmed means do you? Does it mean the eggs are taken from the wild and hatched in captiveity?

i think they are being bred from the ones they caught! they might be a little untamed but it seems a reasonable price

CFs are prone to feeding problems too in unexperienced hands and some just starve themselves to death, just make sure its feeding before you get it good luck with your choice lee

best bet is to buy your royals from a breeder then you know they are feeding and you get records with them like last feed,shed,d/o/b etc.... lee

cf is fine. it is wild caught that is bad. wild caught are the ones that dont eat and have aparsites and all. i am almost 100% positive that cf is the same as cb.

just remember that if you do get one, make sure you get the right temparature and handling requirments, if they are not right, there is a chance that the snake might stop feeding!

Ive just read that cf are gravid female royals taken out of the wild and the eggs are layed in captivity and hatched in captivity.

chances are they should be alright then but the final choice is upto you, if you feel unsure and there close enough go and check out what there temperments are like as this will play a big part in there feeding and the amount of probs you will get also make sure they are keeping records on feeding!
