Hi Jo and welcome to our little familey. Lossers right, maybee try moving up a size to say 2 small mice a week or the next size up in rats and feed once a week say on a saturday or (if like me your out on a sat) sunday night. Good selection of pets, it sound's like our house, we have 12 differant pets including 5 snakes (3 corns and 2 sand boa's). As to the pic's most f us on here use eather www,photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com i prefer photobucket but they both are excellant. Check them out and if you need help i'll send instructions if you need them. Enjoy it here and are you going to thr show in october?

Hi Jo and welcome to the forum. Im sure you will enjoy it here. John and the rest of the guys (and girls) are really helpful and friendly ;D
About the rats, im not sure but it does sound a bit much. What i do know is that a 1pound snake requires 5.5 kcal per day. A large mouse contains 85kcal. This guide does not include the energy required for growth or repoduction (i.e not for use with a young snake that is still growing or one that you are breeding as both of these will require more energy). Looking at the guide it is obvious that most of us overfeed our snakes as most of us feed every 5-7days. I would advise the same as John on what and when to feed but do make sure that if you are cutting his diet down you do it over a few months rather than weeks.
Looking forward to the pics ;D

Don't mind you askingas if you don't ask you'll never know. I only know the absolute basics here but here goes, when Louise got chance she was in a state because of being bitten by a mouse/rat and had a load of "hole" on her face and head, maybee some other places as well. Louise got her back to full health and is now a great snake, so great chance will sit and coil around louise while she watches a 2 hour film . I personally think louise did a brilliant job and their is photo's to compair the "bites" to when their healed somewhare on here, i just havn't looked yet to find the link....
