I was just wondering "How do you get your corn to be more active in the day?" Its all very well people saying dont wake your corn but mine dont wake up untill at least 12 most nights so if i didnt give them a little nudge then i'd never have them out. They always come out no problem, their both really docile and feeding and pooing fine so i'm sure that their not stressed in any way. But is this wrong I'm confussed PLEASE HELP!

my sisters corns like it, you just gotta let him settle in an eventually he will start coming out more! it also depends on the temperment of the snake, if he hates to be held an looks like he is scared then it may well be he feels safer at night, in which case just handle him loads an he'l get used to it an finally hel come out all the time and also if he is in shed then he may hide for a while!

My snakes are in my living room, and they get natural light during the day. As soon as the sun goes down they're both awake and active. My snakes do not mind being woken up when they're sleeping, but I try not to make a habit out of it. I'll wake them about once a week or so. Sometimes my snake will wake up when I get home from work for a few minutes to say hi to me.

Mine are all different. My amel is out all the time but when I got her she never came out. My anery just sleeps anywhere, sprawled out across the viv and wakes at various times. My other two do tend to wake up about 7ish but wont come out till ive gone to bed. I get them out anytime after 6pm really or sometimes in the middle of the day if im cleaning the vivs. Your will get used to your routine and will soon learn that what goes on aroud the viv in the day isnt threatening. But remember, your corn coming out in the day is just like you getting up in the middle of the night and going out for a walk!! And if like me you love your bed, the chances of that are 0

Oh and dont worry about waking them if you want to hold them. Leave it until the evening then open the viv and give them a little nudge, wait 10 mins for them to wake then handle them.
