I'm with Vicki, it takes time for them to catch on sometimes, Some will eat straigh out the egg others will take a bit longer. Dont worry, just follow Vicki's advice (basicley the same as i would have said).

What you've got to remember is that this is a learning progress for both you and the little guy. Eventually he will realise he can't get that pinkie in by will power alone and that in order to eat it he has to open his mouth

Eventually he will realise he can't get that pinkie in by will power alone and that in order to eat it he has to open his mouth I do hope so! He is now on kitchen roll. When i changed his water yesterday, i changed the newspaper to kitchen roll. I also cut an empty toilet roll in half and placed them under his hide, one on the warm side and one on the cool side. I will try and feed tomorrow night. I would attach a pic i took yesterday, but can't figure out how to yet!

Sounds good the kitchen roll will make him feel a lot more save than a large bit of cork wood and now he can move between them. Under the rules section john explains how to post pics you need to use a photo hosting program. If you can't find the post use the search engine.
