When I got my crested gecko, I put my snake next to him, but my snake always seems like he's in hunting mode because he flicks his head from side to side. He also seems agitated when I pick him up too. Should I move my snake or what?

It depends. It could be due to the fact that he can smell your gecko. In the wild corn snakes would eat lizards.
If you are pretty sure it is this, then i would suggest moving the viv's further away from each other :-)
It could also be that your corn snake is still young (assuming from your avator) and not quite settled in yet. They are generally pretty nervous at first, and will go into "threat" mode if they feel insecure.
He should calm down soon!

Just let them get used to each other. I have gerbils close to my snakes and I think John does too. They will soon learn that only the smell of defrosted mice is the food they will get to eat.

Yeah used to keep gerbils and they were next to both zeus's viv and chocky and blizzards viv (1 being on top of the other), shaggy (the gerbil) has now died and i've not replaced him. During the time it took the snakes around 7-10 days to get used to him being their, with zeus become aggresive, but they did get used to it and settled.
In your case i would give it around a 10-14 days and see what happens. The snake will eather calm down, or stay agitatef, if it's still agitated after a week then i would move 1 of the viv's to the other side of the room.
Another thing is, if the snake is big enough, it could be getting ready for the mating season, which starts around march give or take a week or 2. Thats just a shot in the dark depending on age/size of the corn.

I've had him for about 6 months so it won't be him settling in still. He never tries to bite me so I guess it's ok. He seems more calm today, so I think it should be fine.
Thanks for all the great replies ;D
