Colours dont really matter as long as they are roughly the same size and definately opposite sexes (it turns out my male snow is actually a female lol)i think. i may be wrong though so wait for a more experienced keeper to answer. i think im on the right lines though.

My friend housed her juvenile corns together and the females ended up with eggs, which could of killed them, but thankfully didn't.
Someone else used to house her boas together, until once after being put back in their cage from being fed they tried to eat each other, and she had to use quite a bit of force to separate two 2' snakes.
Just buy a separate cage until they are bigger, or don't house them together at all.

I would wait to house them together till they are older, any age over 2 (if the snakes are over 3foot long), of over 3 years old if now over 3foot long. I'm only saying this because of the possableity of earley breeding and egg binding.

I used to house my 2 male adults together, this was causing some probs due to the size difference, also housing separatley ensures you can identify problems quicker, eg regurges, abnormal stools etc.. Also my largest used to annoy the youngest by chasing him round the viv... I thought it would be best to separate..& now its cool
