Yes youre right, i got Amber in September. We were going to get 2 hatchlings. Me and Craig went to the pet shop and had a little chat with the man. We dicided that by the time we had upgraded the viv 3 times and bought the hatchling it would be quite costly and also the fact that we had never had snakes I thought that we would be best with an adult. Then I saw Amber and I just loved her. We didnt plan to get one that day but we did and ended up spending £200on the snake and the viv and stuff!! I got addicted to them and then got another, Craig is not as keen as me even though it was his idea in the first place. I would now love a hatchling and would also like to breed in about 18 months (thats how long i think it would take to research all i need to know and for my snakes to be old enough). I cant quite decide if i should get a hatchling corn or maybe a different type of snake. Sorry for the essay ;D

At last check i think humbug was around 5.5ft (and he's still young, about 4-5 years old i think). Mind you a 5ft Corn is good as well, my eldest (venus) is about4.5ft long, which i think is big for a female.

Yea Humbug is about 5.5 foot, the same size as me ;D He is huge, and a big softie! I bought him as a 2/3 year old but i think he is older than that looking at the size of him. Amber is a little over 3.5 foot and looks so small next to him, shes 2/3yrs.
