has anyone bought a snake or any live food from a mail order place? has anyone had any bad experiences i.e doa? think i would feel massivly responsible if an animal died on the way to me?? what are your views on it? (just curious te he)

Personally i would rather "hand pick" it, but i do know somewhere that do corns on next day delivery with garenteed live when it arrives, muphesto has more details though as he's done it with a snake.

yeh i got cash for xmas of my gf i got it from www.natures-image.co.uk/indexnew2.htmcash arrived fine, obviously a bit nervous but the packaging couldnt be faulted, cardboard box full of styrofoam (or whatever it is) with cash inside a seperate tub with kitchen roll and a heat pack inside the box i wouldnt normally have thought of doing that expect i couldnt find an anery anywere up here in scotland but yeh id do it again

also decided that when tim is in his large viv that i am going to purchase another corn i am looking at blood red corns and some with the longitudal stripes! saw the kingsnakes that were posted and they look so cool! i am sooooooo excited!!!! but it will be a few sheds before he is in his bigger viv but still excited!!!

muphesto, bj herps is like 30 mins drive from me, he quoted me £165 for my rtb which i think is a little over what i was expecting to pay! on a bonus note my parents have agreed for me to get one ;D so anytime i can afford it!!!! ;D

yeah, i decided to buy a youngen cos my mums not keen on having a 10 foot snake come into the house so i figured she wont worry if i get it small and then it can "grow" on her (excuse the pun), but she does know what size it will grow to and shes kinda excepted it ;D, dad is as excited as i am!!
