Hi,
Nothing wrong with being nozy. It's just a 20 Gallon low cage I bought at the pet shop with a sliding mesh top. I do need to mist it regularly, but that will always be the case, because humidity in Denver is very low (10%).
The white grid on top is a metal grid (really a metal shelf). We also have three cats and a dog and a couple of goldfish. The cats like to park their fat asses on top of the fish tank, so I was worried that if they would park it on top of the mesh of the vivarium they'd break it. As it is, the snake is not active enough, so the cats ignore the tank completely. I'm not sure they even know there is an animal in there.
I just need to be very careful that he doesn't escape.

Ok thats fine they seem to be nocturnal aslong as theres no light it will come out more often. The best kind and escape proof of viv is a wooden viv with glass slideing doors with a vent at the back as i use and many other herpoculturists alike.

Hi Lozzer,
I will definitely upgrade to a taller viv with sliding doors. Whenever I reach down to pich him up it freaks him out that a hand is coming from the heavens to pick him up (ans as far as Carmello is concerned he tastes like chicken to me).
I got some nice ideas from the pictures on this site. ;D
