Hi and welcome to the forum
Nice snake, good pic's. As to age how long have you had him/her, and approx how big is he/she? Can't give a deffinate age, but i can give you a round about age.
BTW, where's my X-BOX 360? they sold out before i could get 1, lol

i have had him for about 6 weeks and he is aprox. 16 inches long. and he hasnt shed yet should i be concerned?
and as far as the x box 360 i went through the madness trying to get one but i got lucky and one store had ONE left. by the way elder scrolls oblivion is a great game when you get your 360 i recomend this game.

Very cool snake. As to being worried about shedding you shouldn't too much but it is a bit long for such a small snake. I would suggest he isn't getting enough to eat. Any chace you could tell us his feeding routine and how big a lump his meal leaves.

Looking at the first pic i would say a shed is due to start, or already has, just going off the eye colouring. As to age i would probbabley put him at about 12-16 weeks old, somewhere around that time fame anyway. Most hatchlings are between 8 and 12 inches when they come out the egg, so my guess is it's had around 6-8 shed already, so probbabley nearer the 12 weeks old mark.

Thanks for pointing that out John. My computer is doing this funny thing with large pictures at the minute where they appear all blotchy. I presume it has something to do with the resolution and it never used to happen. However haven't yet found a solution to it.

It could be blur, but it looks like the eye's are going or have turned. We'll find in the next week or so.

well actually his/her eyes dont look that way except in that one picture. and he/she eats one pinkie a week and the lump is a lil noticeable but not much. i have noticed the belly colors have faded tho. is this a sign of shedding?

Yeah, usually the belly scales start to turn, around 3-7 days before the eye's go. It does sound likea shed coming on to me.

I reckon you would be safe upping him to two pinkies a week after the shed as well. And During shedding it is a good idea to provide a large bowl and mist the vivarium with a plant misting bottle. Just a squirt at night and in the morning.

I'd say it was a shed, and give it 3 to 10 days and he'll have compleatley shed.
