That sounds like 1 hell of a good boa. What she feeding on now? i see she's a good size now. after her surgerys i would have to feed her small to medium rats but each time her wound went away she would get rabbits or huge rats. the rats i get her when she is well is the size of a rabbit. i will fond a pic of one

That the thing with boa's, they are 99% of the time excelant feeders (i have 2 sand boa's, but want a bigger model, lol). She really does look healthy now, i like a good ending.

The only time my Hashmeer is remotely aggressive is after a meal. He snapped at my friend last night, who was just trying to give me a hand. Hashie was climbing out of the feeding dish, and he tried to coax him back in so I could put him back in his viv. My hands smelled like food, and I got tagged a few weeks ago. Well, Hashie didn't like it, and tried to tag him. My girlfriend left the room fast. Other than that he's very tame.
He was also a bit aggressive when I first got him. I don't think the pet shop I got him from fed him enough. He ate 2 pinkies his first meal home. He's since calmed with regular handling.

Thats a RAT? God thats huge for a rat, especially next to my sand boa's small mice. She's about 6 inches longer then in this pic, and is fully grown. This is 1 of her eating a small mouse, she's just finished constricting it..

I never realised that because half the care sheets i've seen recomend them as a stop gap between rats and rabbits. I'll have to remember it though.
